RSVP-Northern Virginia partner Green Spring Gardens is seeking volunteers to support the park’s annual Fall Garden Day, taking place Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.
Volunteer Fairfax chief executive officer Steve Mutty has named Volunteer Fairfax staffer Brandi Morris as the new RSVP-Northern Virginia program manager, effective Sept. 2, 2019. Brandie joined RSVP in late May, 2019, as RSVP’s volunteer specialist. “We quickly realized Brandi brought the talents and the drive to qualify her to apply for the program manager position,” Mutty said.
There is still time to sign up for RSVP’s upcoming photo seminar at Green Spring Gardens, scheduled for Aug. 28. RSVP-Northern Virginia, the region’s largest volunteer group for those 55 “or better” will hold a free seminar on iPhone photography, Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m., at Green Spring Gardens Park in the Alexandria section
