FACETS is an organization that supports families and individuals struggling with poverty and homelessness in Fairfax County. Our mission is to open doors, and we need ongoing help to move people into permanent supportive housing.
We are looking for people who are available on Tuesdays during the day to help FACETS Case Managers carry furniture into apartment units to help our community move from shelters or hotels into long-term homes.
This is an ongoing need, and volunteers are asked to help twice each month. We’ll have on-call two shift options every Tuesday (9:00 a.m.—noon or noon—5:00 p.m.), and for your planning purposes all participants will receive a confirmation by Thursday to know if they will be needed the following week.
