FACETS and RSVP – Northern Virginia: Bringing Thanks to Families in Fairfax County

A very special thank you to all of our AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP-Northern Virginia volunteers who ventured out in the bitter cold on November 15th, to donate and coordinate food donations, for a very special Thanksgiving! As the most vulnerable in our County face economic hardships and a disrupted supply chain, many of our neighbors already facing food insecurity were particularly in need of Thanksgiving meals this year. Along with FACETS, your efforts helped get food distributed to over 450 families Thanksgiving week and feeding over 1000 individuals! Thank you for your vigilant compassion and caring!
