While last year the Northern Virginia Senior Olympics (NVSO) was postponed, NVSO is back on this year!
NVSO promotes health, fitness, and psychological well-being for senior adults by providing opportunities for participation, competition, self-improvement, and fellowship through various athletic and recreational events.
Volunteers are the backbone to NVSO. They help welcome participants, keep time, and more.
Training is done on-site the day of the event. If you’re able to push a button (timer), you can volunteer!
Below is a list of the events.
The greatest number of volunteers needed for specific events will be denoted with an ****.
The highest number of volunteers are needed on opening day (track events), as well for swimming.
We encourage you to volunteer what suits you. Learn more about NVSO here on there homepage.
If you are interested in volunteering in any of the events below, please contact RSVP Volunteer Specialist, Shannon White, at swhite@volunteerfairfax.org.
