By Shepherd’s Center-Northern Virginia (SCNV) serving the towns of Oakton, Vienna, Reston, Hendon, and Great Falls, is dedicated to ensuing every person, including older adults and people with disabilities, can live and age in place with dignity.
In 2020 alone, volunteers with SCNV provided over 800 round-trip rides for clients, with 5323 hours of contributed service, conservatively estimated at a $155,112 value.
Volunteers with SCNV can pick and choose the hours and days they volunteer. Most drives occur Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00-4:00 pm.
