From 2000 to 2016, Arlington County lost 86% of its market rate affordable housing stock. Today, more than 7,500 families and individuals in Arlington do not have access to homes they can afford. (1) Currently, there are only 35 affordable apartments for every 100 households requiring one.
APAH (Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing) mission is to build, preserve, and operate affordable housing for low-income families. Housing security is critical to providing stability in order for families to thrive.
To welcome new families, groups, and individuals who move into the newest community at Queens Court in Rossyln, APAH is asking for Welcome Baskets to be donated.
Donations are accepted Sundays from 9:00-10:00 am.
Donations are asked to be complete and that all items to fit into the laundry basket. Please limit your donation to the items listed below for reasons of space and capacity to be distributed.
For purposes of hygiene and dignity, we ask that all items are new, unopened, and unused.
