By AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer Jo Deckert designed and handmade 500 handmade Thank You cards for CRi – Choice. Respect. Independence. The cards were given to CRi direct support staff, with personal messages from CRi staff written on the inside. Janet Davison, CVA, CRi’s Volunteer Program Manager, worked with Jo to create this no-contact-during-Covid project.
Jo volunteered a total of 262 hours designing and making the cards and 350 tags for holiday gifts to CRi residents.
