Photos and Story by Rob Paine, RSVP-Northern Virginia

RSVP-Northern Virginia would like to thank the staff and volunteer docents at Green Spring Gardens for hosting nearly 20 RSVP volunteers and leading them on a tour of the park, July 30.

The special free tour of the gardens for RSVP volunteers (many who took part in our June Group Service Project at Green Spring) concluded in the park’s Historic House where our volunteers were served lemonade and ice tea and learned about the variety of volunteer experiences available to RSVP volunteers at Green Spring, a Fairfax County Park Authority park.

Special thanks too to RSVP engagement leader Ken Kozloff who suggested and set up the tour of Green Spring.

RSVP will be back again at this great location on Aug. 28 for our second free volunteer photography training lead by RSVP’s Rob Paine. To sign up for this event, please visit Aug. 28 RSVP Green Spring Photo Class.

Below is a gallery of photos from Tuesday’s tour.
