Girls on the Run of NOVA needs Role Models like you! Coach a GOTR team in your neighborhood this Fall!

Girls on the Run of NOVA (GOTR NOVA) inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Coaches are trained to lead small teams through our easy-to-follow research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k event.

Coaches are required to commit to 2-3 hours per week for the 10 week season, with additional time required for Coach Training and the GOTR 5K race. GOTR’s Fall 2019 Season starts the week of September 23rd and ends on November 24th.

To apply as a Fall 2019 Girls on the Run of NOVA coach, go to https://www.raceplanner.com/volunteer/signup/new-coach-application-fall-19.
