RSVP-Northern Virginia, a program of Volunteer Fairfax, Volunteer Arlington and Volunteers Alexandria, is seeking a volunteer specialist.

RSVP-Northern Virginia is the largest and fastest growing  volunteer program for those 55 or better in the region and offers a free personalized matching service to individuals 55 or better who are seeking meaningful, fun and social volunteer opportunities.

The volunteer specialist supports RSVP-Northern Virginia by engaging volunteers  with its partner nonprofit and government agency workstations and is responsible for aspects related to volunteer management including volunteer recruitment, placement and recognition. The volunteer specialist also is responsible for  workstation relations  and volunteer reporting for this regional endeavor.

RSVP-Northern Virginia’s offices are based in the headquarters  of Volunteer Fairfax in the City of Fairfax. RSVP recruits and manages volunteers in Fairfax and Arlington counties and in the City of Alexandria.

In addition  to offering its members  more than 300 meaningful and social  volunteer opportunities with more than 40 nonprofit and agency partners, RSVP holds monthly  group service projects. This group of RSVP volunteers was photographed during a project at Food For Others in Fairfax.
