Thank you to everyone who attended Carly’s RSVP NOVA info session for new volunteers in Burke Centre earlier this week.
For those who live in Alexandria or in the nearby Mount Vernon section of Fairfax County, Carly will be holding another free seminar on senior volunteerism, Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 a.m., at the Sherwood Regional Library at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, VA 2230.
RSVP, the region’s largest volunteer network for people 55-years-old and better, provides personalized support to seniors who are seeking their ideal volunteer opportunity.
RSVP offers more than 200 meaningful opportunities that include helping seniors age in place, assisting local food pantries, and teaching financial literacy.
To sign up for the Dec. 4 orientation, email RSVP Volunteer Specialist Carly Hubicki at firstname.lastname@example.org or click here or call RSVP at 703-403-5360.
